We want to raise as much awareness for SiMBA and the work that we are doing in across Scotland. Did you know that :
> We currently supply Memory Boxes to the Early Pregnancy Unit, Neonatal Unit, Rubislaw Ward, Labour Suite and Mortuary in Aberdeen Maternity Hospital.
> We have held free advanced bereavement drop in training events for health care professionals and students in the Neonatal Unit of the Aberdeen Maternity Hospital.
>We have also held a free advanced bereavement and palliative care study day in Robert Gordon University in conjunction with CHAS
> In 2017 we unveiled our Family Room within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. These beautiful rooms have formed the blue print for all of our rooms gong forward. In October 2018 we were delighted to unveil our family and quiet room in the Royal Alexandra Hospital Labour Ward. These vital rooms allow families to spend time with their baby in a homely setting before having to say goodbye.
> We have 5 Trees of Tranquillity in Scotland, life sized copper sculpture where every leaf is engraved in memory of a baby.
> We have closed facebook groups specifically to support those affected by the loss of a baby, a group for men only, grandparents, those who wish to share their babies photos. The groups are available 24 hours a day, giving families access exactly when they need it. https://www.simbacharity.org.uk/support/have-you-joined-our-closed-facebook-pages/
