It’s time to dig out your trainers, put on your kilt and join SiMBA in the Edinburgh  Kiltwalk on 15th September 2019

You can join the:

Wee Wander – 6 miles

Perfect for adults and children even those in baby strollers / prams and pushchairs. Why not get your wee one dressed in a kilt to really make them part of the day?

The Big Stroll (13 miles) or The Mighty Stride (26 miles)

If you’re looking for more of a challenge then these are the walks for you. Whether you choose to walk 13 or 26 miles we advise you to train in advance. To that end we have joined forces with Achievement Coaching to put together a training plan and hints and tips guide (which will be available shortly).

Not only will you be able to enjoy various snacks at the pit stops throughout the walk, you will also receive two hot meals. Lunch will be provided at one of the pit stops and at the end of each walk every participant will receive a meal voucher to spend in the Kiltwalk Village.

** Some parts of the walks will pose difficulties for wheelchair users.  If you have any questions regarding this please contact the Kiltwalk on 0141 611 7919 or email**

And that’s not all, thanks to the very generous Hunter Foundation your fundraising will also be topped up by 40%! So if you raise £100 for SiMBA, we will receive £140!

We want to raise as much awareness for SiMBA and the work that we are doing in across Scotland. Did you know that :

> We currently supply Memory Boxes to Simpsons in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary; St John’s Hospital in Livingston and Borders General Hospital in Galashiels.

> In 2017 we unveiled our Family Room within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. These beautiful rooms have formed the blue print for all of our rooms gong forward. In October 2018 we were delighted to unveil our family and quiet room in the Royal Alexandra Hospital Labour Ward. These vital rooms allow families to spend time with their baby in a homely setting before having to say goodbye. We are working on Family Room refurbishments in Simpsons in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary; St John’s Hospital in Livingston and Borders General Hospital in Galashiels.
