Are you looking to take part in a Half Marathon or 5k along a beautiful scenic route? If so, this is definitely one for you!
This is an event for all ages and for all fitness levels. The Half Marathon is for those 17 years and above whereas the 5k is for any age. Take in the beautiful scenery as you run alongside the River Ness and make your way to Inverness Castle, turning back to make your way to the finish line at Queens Park Stadium.

Robbie Simpson of Deeside Runners set a record time of 1hr 4min 27secs at the Inverness 1/2 marathon, knocking 5 seconds off the record held since 1993. Could you beat Robbie's time?

Looking for a spring-time challenge? The Inverness ½ Marathon is the perfect Spring race to keep you motivated and training. This popular race follows a scenic route with great PB potential through the Highland capital of Inverness.
The route starts alongside the banks of the River Ness near the centre of Inverness and takes in many of the city’s icons. A warm Highland welcome awaits all runners as they approach the finish line on entering Queen’s Park Stadium at Inverness Sports Centre – achieved by over 2800 runners in 2018.

If you’re looking for a shorter distance or are new to running, the Inverness 5K could be the race for you. The 5K route is flat and scenic alongside the banks of the River Ness in the heart of the Highland capital of Inverness.
Whatever your running ability, fitness, age or experience if you enter the Inverness 5K, we guarantee you’ll cross the finish line with a smile on your face!
