General entry for this event is now sold out but we have 10 charity places available

General entry into the virtual 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 3 October is now sold out. The only way to be a part of the world's biggest-ever marathon, wherever you are on the planet, is to secure a charity place and we have 10 places available for this event!

You'll have a full 24 hours to complete your 26.2 miles on Sunday 3 October and all finishers will receive their running numbers before the event and their coveted official finisher medal and T-shirt post event.

Runners in the virtual event will join a record 50,000 participants who will run the traditional Virgin Money London Marathon from Blackheath to The Mall.

Did you know - The virtual Virgin Money London Marathon was held for the first time in 2020, when more than 37,000 runners, from all corners of the world, completed the race. The final finishing total of 37,966 means it has been awarded an official Guinness World Records title for the 'Most users to run a remote marathon in 24 hours'.

There is no entry fee but for this event we are asking for a minimum sponsorship of £250 (or a reduced sponsorship of £200 for health care professionals who support SIMBA).

To register for this event email confirming that you are happy to raise our minimum sponsorship - please remember to confirm if you are a health care professional.  If you have any concerns about raising the requested amount then please let us know.

As well as offering fundraising advice we will also send all of our fundraisers a FREE SiMBA running vest to wear when training and walking.

It would be great if you could send us a picture of you as you train and a little bit more information about why you are taking part then we can share it across our main facebook pages. It’s a great way for us to say thank you and to encourage others to join in in. Just email or post your picture and fundraising story onto our “Fundrasing Together for SiMBA” facebook group:

With your support and help we can make a real difference to bereaved families - thank you for supporting SiMBA.
