Supernova 2023 Friday 15th & Saturday 16th March 2023 is a series timed 5k runs with a twist. They all take part in iconic venues at night, including the famous Helix Park & The Kelpies.
Take a beautiful and iconic venue such as The Kelpies, wait until dusk, get the family together (and we mean everyone – grandparents, uncles, aunties, parents, kids, friends!), dig out the fluorescent clothing and grab everything and anything that glows or flashes. Then set off on a Supernova 5K!
This is the perfect way to get involved in a timed 5K with your family and friends, whilst taking in the atmosphere and fun. Starting & finishing within Helix Park, this beautiful route allows runners the rare opportunity to run alongside the iconic Kelpie sculptures, which are lit up and change colour at dusk to create a beautiful spectacle for participants and spectators alike.
