We are always looking for volunteers to come to our office to help make up our Memory Boxes, make up clay imprint kits and help with various administrative tasks. Since October 2017 we have sent out 2700 memory boxes  a year, each made up by one of our volunteers.

If you are free to help even for a few hours, please complete the form below or alternatively phone Zoey on 0131 353 0055 or email enquiries@simbacharity.org.uk

You can volunteer any time Monday – Friday 10:00 – 16:00; individually or as a group. We can have up to 8 volunteers in the office at a time, although we may be able to accommodate larger groups on occassion.

A word from one of our regular volunteers...

"A family member recently lost one of her babies which made me realise how traumatic this is for parents-to-be. I felt completely helpless and began thinking of ways I could help to make the situation any easier. I thought how awful it must be for a Mum and Dad preparing for the birth of their baby to have to leave hospital empty handed, this is why I decided to give up some of my spare time to join SiMBA and help with the memory boxes. These boxes hold precious memories and I believe they are particularly important in the bereavement healing process."
