SiMBA are delighted to announce that Smurfit Kappa, Glasgow have chosen us to be their charity partner. Smurfit Kappa provides recycling services to both public and private sector organisations. They purchase and recover cardboard, paper, plastics and provide security shredding services. Customers' material can be delivered in or collected dependent on volumes.
Smurfit Kappa have kindly agreed to donate £40 per tonne of cardboard/paper material that is deposited into their skip at the front of their Glasgow Depot (37 - 49 Vermont Street, G41 1LU) to SiMBA.
Business and personal recycling can be added to this skip, and by recycling with Smurfit Kappa you will be helping to raise vital funds for SiMBA.
Just take your business or personal recycling along and you can help to boost our donation!
Alanna Greenaway, Commercial Manager “We are delighted to be supporting the great work of SiMBA. Anyone in the local community can help this worthy cause simply by bringing any unwanted cardboard and paper to us. It means a lot to us that together we can help those affected by the loss of a baby"
“Losing a baby can happen to anyone and it affects not only the parents, siblings but also family members and friends. We are very grateful to Smurfit Kappa for partnering with SiMBA, this is a fantastic opportunity for both organisations to raise awareness. As a charity we are very aware of our environmental responsibility so to be able to give our donors an option to recycle and raise funds at the same time is fantastic!” Sara Fitzsimmons, Executive Director, SiMBA”
