Baby Loss Awareness Week takes place annually from 9 to 15th October to raise awareness of baby loss and the support that is available. The week culminates with the global “Wave of Light” on Tuesday 15th October where at 7pm we come together to light a candle in memory, and in honour of all babies who die at any stage of pregnancy or close to the time of birth.

This year SiMBA will be hosting four Wave of Light Services in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Stornoway. Each service will run from 6.45pm to 7.30pm; please also join us for a hot drink/juice after the service, along with the opportunity to chat with members of the SiMBA team.

The events are for anyone affected by the death of a baby, families, friends, colleagues, healthcare professionals etc

These events are completely FREE but we would be grateful if anyone attending can complete the form on our website for the event that they would like to attend, for catering and health and safety.

Full event details and registration links for each service can be found here :

If you are unable to join us
