Following on from our announcement that our founder Sara Fitzsimmons will be stepping down from her role as CEO, we can confirm that Karen Moore has been appointed as Interim CEO. Karen's most recent interim Executive contract has been with Inverclyde Women's Aid, and she brings a wealth of experience with her, including; strategic reviews, organisational visioning, culture and behavioural change as well as income diversification and sustainability. Karen will join SiMBA on 12th September, and take on the role of Interim CEO from 22nd September, when Sara will step down to focus on a project lead role (14 hours per week) until the end of the year.
