COVID-19 Information for pregnancy

For anyone currently pregnant or planning a pregnancy we wanted to share this information, as we understand pregnancy after a loss is a worrying enough time so we want to help you in any way that we can to reduce this worry.

The COVID-19 outbreak is a developing situation. The most up to date, guidance and information can be found on the NHS website https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

The Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologist (RCOG) have provided guidance for anyone who is or hopes to be pregnant. https://www.rcog.org.uk/en/guidelines-research-services/guidelines/coronavirus-pregnancy/covid-19-virus-infection-and-pregnancy/

The current advice is to follow regular hygiene measures to stop COVID-19 spreading, simple procedures such as washing your hands with soap and water or hand sanitiser often and avoiding people who are unwell especially those who have cold or flu symptoms. If you have been in close contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19 or if you are concerned that you are unwell, call the NHS advice line on 111
