We urgently need your help now more than ever.
We are reaching out to you today with an unprecedented request in the history of SiMBA. To continue supporting bereaved families with our core services, SiMBA needs to raise £220,000. We need your help now, more than ever, as we face a shortfall in funds. Sadly, in the last three years, the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic crisis has left a huge gap in our funding, and, at the same time, we have seen an 83% growth in requests for Memory Boxes for bereaved families across the UK.
Every donation will help, large or small; it truly will make a huge difference in helping so many families affected by the loss of their baby.
This month, we are sharing a poignant milestone; the donation of 50,000 beautiful, meticulously made Memory Boxes to maternity, gynaecology, neonatal wards, hospices and individuals across the UK and Ireland since 2005.
While 50,000 is a heart-breaking figure, we know that we have given 50,000 families the opportunity, where possible, to create memories of precious time spent together with their baby. When losing a baby in early pregnancy it’s a gift to say we care, and we know your baby is important. SiMBA have helped more families than ever before to create timeless and precious memories with their babies. As awareness of our special Memory Boxes has grown, so has demand from across the country.
We will do everything we can to continue providing our Memory Boxes, but we can’t do it alone. With no regular Government funding, we rely on the kindness and generosity of our incredible supporters so we can continue our essential work.
