"Thank you so much. Your Memory Box has made me feel that I can say 'yes' my baby existed, even at 11 weeks".
SiMBA is here to care for and support anyone affected by baby loss. Demand for our Memory Boxes and on-line support groups has continued to increase throughout lockdown but our fundraising and donation levels have dramatically dropped. You can help to ensure that we are here for many more years to come and support us through this very difficult time.
The Virtual Kiltwalk weekend is a unique event taking place over the weekend of the 11th – 13th September 2020. This event is open to everyone, regardless of your location, age or ability and WE NEED YOU to sign up and support SIMBA.
How does it work?
You are in complete control, you set your challenge and complete it over the weekend of the 11-13 September. All you have to do is register via the kiltwalk and wear a wee piece of tartan.
Sir Tom Hunter and the Hunter Foundation will also top up all funds raised during this event by 50% * This means that every £10 that you raise for SiMBA will turn into £15 ensuring that we are here help others.
How do I join?
1. Click the link to register:registration.everydayhero.com/ps/event/TheEdinburghKiltwalk2020
2. Choose SiMBA as your charity
3. Set up your everyday hero page online (the Kiltwalk team will send you a link & guidance on how to activate your everyday hero page upon entry)
I’ve got nothing to wear!
We’ve got that covered too. We'll send the first 75 people who register and fundraise a FREE SiMBA snood to wear when you complete your challenge too. So you can raise money, have fun and look fantastic!
You’re never on your own!
We may be separated by distance but we’re with you every step of the way. From the second you sign up right through to the weekend of the 11th September, we’ll be there for you to provide you with as much support and resource as we can.
Together we can do this !

"I can't express how grateful we are to receive this, but for those of you who have been where we are now, I hope you realise the comfort you are bringing. Thank you for helping us and for everything you're doing to honour these beautiful babies that are so important."
