Over the weekend of the 23 – 25th April we were deeply saddened to hear that our Tree of Tranquillity in Dumfries & Galloway, within the grounds of The Crichton Trust, was regrettably damaged.  We are delighted to confirm that the Dumfries and Galloway Tree of Tranquillity, has now been fully repaired and is looking as beautiful as ever.

We would like to convey our thanks to the local community for their incredible support this week. It has been heartwarming to witness the strength of community spirit and to know just how much the memorial tree means to everyone.
We would also like to thank everyone who has set up and donated to local fundraising pages to help us cover the cost of repairs. We will use the remaining funds to enhance the area around the tree with lighting and storyboards.
We look forward to continuing our work in Dumfries and Galloway and in supporting those who have suffered the loss of a baby in any way we can.
Anyone who would like to place a leaf on the Tree of Tranquillity, access services or offer support to SiMBA can find out more on www.simbacharity.org.uk
With thanks from
