Thank you everyone in Plexus who raised £10,331.18 to support SiMBA.

Throughout 2019 Plexus staff raised more than £20,000 to be shared between SiMBA and the Margaret Kerr Unit at the Borders General Hospital. Gillian Wells, our Events & Partnerships Manager, was delighted to be able to join Gary Simpson, Director of Engineering EMEA, Laura McEwan and Emma Wichary along with representatives from their fundraising committee to receive the £10,331.18 donation to SiMBA.

SiMBA were nominated by Laura McEwan, in memory of her grandson Zander John White. There is truly nothing more powerful than a story shared from the heart and we cannot thank Laura enough for speaking so beautifully as a very proud grandmother. Laura shared her story about her daughter Kerry and grandson Zander and about how much the Simba Memory Box meant to her family and how important it was to be able to meet, hold and spend time with her very precious grandson.

There are over 500 members of staff based at the Plexus electronics factory and our thanks go to each and every one of them who helped to generate this incredible donation.
