After challenges at the start of this year, thankfully SIMBA is now in a more stable position with exciting times ahead for the Charity.  After a huge amount of careful reflection and consideration, as well as discussion with the Trustees, I have made the incredibly tough decision to step down from my role as CEO.  This change in leadership will allow someone with new energy and skills to lead the team and take SiMBA into the future. I have had an incredible journey with SiMBA since 2005, there have been some challenging times, but the most amazing times have been plentiful. I am exceptionally proud of the Charity and the most incredible people who have been on this journey with me, and around me, and everyone who has supported SiMBA during this time. Together, we have made a difference to thousands of bereaved families and have made an immense difference through education and raising awareness.  I will continue to be part of the SiMBA Team until an interim CEO is secured for the Charity in the Autumn.
