Vilomah – a parent whose child has died.

What does being a vilomah mean to you?

Do you want to become involved in a project as part of the international conference on stillbirth, SIDS and baby survival being hosted in Glasgow in June 2018?

SiMBA, Scottish Cot Death Trust and playwright, Lisa Nicoll from New Inck Theatre are asking family members to be involved in the creation of play exploring the death of a child and how this affects relationships, feelings of isolation and also the amazing strength and positivity that individuals who are bereaved of a child can have.

An engagement day has been arranged for Monday 10th July, 11 am - 2pm in The Vic Bar at the Tron theatre, 63 Trongate , Glasgow, G1 5HB. There is ample parking at Glasgow Green. There are plenty of public transport options via Central station and the nearest subway station is at St Enoch.

This day is a chance for you to listen to the ideas about a play which will debut at the international conference next year. Find out about the methods Lisa uses to create her plays and meet some of the production team who will be involved. Discover how you can be involved in weekly workshops starting late summer.  You can ask questions about the process to help decide if this is something you want to be a part of.

If you are interested in coming to this event please email Sara Fitzsimmons on or call 01368 860 141 to confirm you will be joining us.
