No parent can ever imagine having to be told that their baby has died at a stage where they are preparing for a life with their newborn. The shock and numbness is unimaginable.

We donate Memory Boxes to hospitals so parents can be gifted a Box so they can gather priceless memory making items of time spent with their baby.

Through using the Memory box you can support parents in taking hand and footprints, choose an irreplaceable lock of hair and you can assist with taking photos of and with their baby. We have recently included a book ‘My Little Star’ so parents can read to their baby; this was a new addition through feedback from the parents themselves.

For the smaller, more fragile baby we can provide a nest to cradle the baby in (please request in additional knitted items).

SiMBA also provides two identical teddies; we would encourage photos with the teddies, which allow parents to remember the size of their baby next to them. We would encourage a teddy be placed in the Memory Box and one kept with the baby, whatever the parents choose.

Guiding parents and families through this tragic, but most precious time, by gathering these items, which will forever prompt timeless memories.

Thank you for helping to make a difference.
